The new Psychoactive Substances Act, which comes into force on May 26th of this year, will introduce a blanket ban on the production, distribution, sale and supply of legal highs which are intended for human consumption.
There can barely be anyone locally that is not aware of the iconic Wellington Monument standing tall on the Blackdown Hill escarpment and clearly visible from the M5 in Somerset. The drive for a new metro style metro style station in Wellington continues. This week Rebecca Pow MP presented a petition to Parliament urging the Government to support calls for a new railway station. The petition was supported by many local residents and will now be given to the Department of Transport for answer.
