Having worked consistently on the agricultural and environmental agendas both prior to becoming the MP for Taunton Deane and subsequently in Westminster, I take all the comments I have received raising concerns over possible changes to the Environmental Land Management Scheme extremely seriously.

I would like to pay tribute to the remarkable life of selfless dedication to duty of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to send thoughts and prayers to the Royal Family at this sad time.

 

My Statement on the Leadership Result

My congratulations to Liz Truss on becoming leader of the Conservative Party and our next Prime Minister. It is a great testament to the Conservative Party that this is our third female Prime Minister, no other party has achieved this.  

My Statement on the Leadership Election

The final two candidates, former Chancellor, Rishi Sunak, and Foreign Secretary Liz Truss have now begun touring the country promoting their campaigns. Following the membership vote, the result will be announced on September 5th.

Rebecca welcomes plan to reduce water pollution
